Apology to Osama Bin Laden and the people of every single government or collection of people in Afghanistan
Okay, so recently I've discovered that I probably have no idea about what's really going on in the world, probably never have, and it's possible never will. I'm more or less okay with this - all right, a lot of the time, I'm less okay. But I'm trying to become more okay. The world has a lot of beautiful things in it, and a lot of beautiful people.
My cousin Brock recently pointed out to me that in my Apologies section, where I apologize to everyone that the U.S. attacks after they've attacked them, I left out Afghanistan and Osama. So okay, for the record, Osama Bin Laden, whereever you might happen to be, I'm sorry that the U.S. Government trained you to be a terrorist, and then declared war on your country because you, suprise suprise, turned out to be a terrorist. I'm sorry your family was hurt. I'm sorry your friends were hurt. I'm sorry ANYONE was hurt. I don't think that the U.S.'s actions towards Osama or the Taliban were reasonable even before 9/11. I don't think we can claim we bear no responsability for the people we train to be fighters because of our stupid economic wars. And about five million unprintable lines would follow this, if I were to let myself think about it for too much longer.
But I'm not. Because there's nothing I can do about it. Osama, I'm sorry. For you, and your friends, and the people of Afghanistan (bet you I mispelled that), and the American soldiers hurt in the conflict, and every soldier everywhere in the Omniverse who has ever been told to fight over any resource ever.
Maybe if we all keep apologizing enough, we'll find something that resembles peace. I don't have any better suggestions at the moment.
