When I was hanging out in orange county I met someone who described to me his friend as having ‘idiot savant’ disease.
Then he described me fairly accurately.
Is that what I am?

no, not really, because while you are specialized in one area you’re not really learning disabled in every other area, as a true idiot savant would be. I would call you generally intelligent with some areas of particular genius.
I bought some more Dorothy Sayers books today, if ya wanna borrow them. 😉

Vinnie has had an official diagnosis for quite some time now, along with tourettes.
But Sheer has always been far more social than Vinnie. Vinnie thinks the parties that Sheer describes in his journal sound like a particularly cruel torture, and only vaugely understands why one might voluntarily attend one, never mind more than one.
Vinnie would not be entirely surprised if Sheer were diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome. However, Vinnie doesn’t particularly feel that people need to be labled like that, either.
Vinnie is unsure as to why he wrote this in the third person.
